ABOUT
MADARIS GRANT

I grew up in a hardworking, middle-class family that taught me the value of perseverance, integrity, and community. My parents believed that if you worked hard, treated people with respect, and kept your word, good things would follow — values that have guided me every step of my life.

That mindset carried me to Ball State University, where I earned a full athletic scholarship and had the honor of serving as a two-time team captain. On the field, I learned lessons that go far beyond football: the importance of teamwork, discipline, and never giving up, no matter the odds. Those same lessons helped me build a career, a business, and a family I’m proud of — and they’re the foundation of how I approach leadership today.

After college, I became a small business owner, working to provide for my family and create opportunities for others. As a husband and father of two, I understand firsthand the challenges families across Ohio are facing: rising costs, struggling schools, and a government that too often forgets who it’s supposed to serve.

But I’ve also seen the strength of our communities — neighbors helping neighbors, small businesses supporting local causes, and people working hard every day to make life better for their families. That’s the Ohio I know and love.

This campaign isn’t about politics as usual. It’s about restoring common sense, fairness, and opportunity for every Ohioan. It’s about bringing people together, listening more than we talk, and finding real solutions that make a difference.

I’m running for Congress because I believe our best days are still ahead — if we work for them. Together, we can build a future where hard work pays off, where every child has a fair shot to succeed, and where government once again works for the people.

Join me in restoring the promise of Ohio.
